No, it's the % of pickups you have.

Chozo Artefacts, Missile Expansions, Power Bomb Expansions, Energy Tanks, and all the majour upgrades contribute to your %. Scan data, however, does not - it has its own, hidden %.

Ok, just want too know how much progress i have done.
I am at Phanzon Mines(?) so is it like 90% left or maybe 80%?

Btw i got a mess in the game that i´ve unlocked a artgallery, if i remember right it was for 50%~(scaning).
