Ah, I forgot to mention that <1, 1> is the upper-left corner and the orientation is like the screen coordinates.

I am now at level 7 but it seems to be a bit larger than what I can handle
i gave up on your hint from the early post, and just used brute force. My head against the lcd screen. I must say, the lcd screen actually put up a good fight. lolYeah, level 4 was a big time killer. it took me over 5 hours to get it right. pcchen's second hint will be a big help if you want to give up.
