This is the full game . I loaded up an old save and I highly doubt epsiode 1 of this would let me run around with 40m gold and own everything in the game and be able to port to anywhere in the game

Is Fable II free? YES... episode 1, that is. Get it today from Xbox LIVE and buy the remaining episodes from Marketplace later.

They will get slapped for bait and switch if that's true ... quite rightly so.

A mispricing is one thing, promoting a teaser as the real thing ... that's dishonest advertising.

Microsoft wasn't the one promoting the free part or that it was the full game. It got promoted through the Interwebs. When the news got out both E & Major Nelson then tweeted that it was only free for the 1st episode. Don't see any mispricing or bait & switch here.

When I downloaded the 1st episode it was actually the full game(same 7gb size) with the other levels locked out till you paid for them. BTW, the link at the top of the page is for the 1st Episode trial since it tells me I "Already Purchased" it back in April. Here's the link for the $20 Games On Demand version.

Hmm fable seems to rewrite a signle save file , i'd hate to loose my progress , aside from that on neogaf people are reporting getting achievements and getting past previous lock outs
