I'm afraid you're just not getting it Mr. -tkf-.....

Well my question was quite simple, ign.com and gamespy.com both think that GT4 has Forza beat on visuals, they think that GT4 looks better, so shimmering, 60FPS, 30FPS,no 1080i, whatever out the window, they think it looks better.

And they think that Forza is an awesome game and they praise the game even claiming it's a better game than GT4.

Does these reviews still hold water for you eventhough you disagree on the visuals part?

And i never really got an answer on the "what games do you play", have you actually played GT3+GT4, you know, just got all licenses?

And i just like to point out that i still plan on giving Forza a shot (a good lenghty one as well) just because i sold my XBOX for lack of games i cared about doesn't mean that a single game can't bring me back, hell i bought Hardware upgrades for every Quake game worth more than one tiny (ok, scratch tiny) console. Yes the chances are slim, but that is just because of World Of Warcraft, it steals almost all free time

Ok, that's the problem right there. First of all I didn't disagree on the visuals part. If you had gone back and read all of my posts starting from page10, you'd understand that I didn't ever mention Forza had better graphics. You're assuming I posts these pictures to somehow prove Forza had better graphics. That's not the reason why I'm posting these pictures. I'm posting these pictures because this is a Forza thread and to show how much trackside detail there is in Forza. That last series of pictures was to show what you can do with the decal/paint feature which is awesome especially with online play. Also remember that it was you who brought up graphics not me.

Just to get you on the road I'll help you out by quoting myself.

like I said if the majority of reviews says game A has better graphics than game B, then that's most likely the case. That IGN review says GT4 has better graphics than Forza taking art direction into account and that's probably why they said the graphics is better than Forza. Bringing it up wasn't needed in the first place since I also agreed it was pointless.

Art direction is subjective, but your opinion is valued. Me, I'd have to see Forza with my own eyes on a nice progressive display before concluding which has the better overall graphics.

Yes that's why I said art direction is subjective and removed it from that checklist. The point is to show how pointless it really is to claim one is better than the other in the graphics department even after removing art direction from the equation...

Just to be clear, GT4 has a slight advantage in the graphics department when talking about art direction IMO, but art direction is subjective. When purely talking about technical it's a wash between GT4 and FM.
