FF7 remake announcement 1/31/07?

I never got into FF7 on the PS1. I found it very boring.

I didn't actually get into the FF franchise until FFX came out.

When it comes to RPGs, I'm a graphics whore.

So if this game gets a graphics update, I'd buy it.

 

But the graphics of the original were head and shoulders above anything else available at the time IMO. The backgrounds looked stunning, they still look ok to this day. The characters on the other hand...
But still, for its time it was very impressive.

I really wish Square would listen to the fans and make the game already.

 

Its already 3am Wednesday in Tokyo, so if this is true, its only a matter of hours till the news arrives

(its probably not true, but whatever, ill jump the bandwagon anyway )

 

I'm about 99.9% positive that this is false.

 

Its almost 6PM in Tokyo now... Soo, i guess there is still some hope.
I figure that they will make some late night party...

Indeed, another company that doesn't deliver what they promised. They're becoming the second Sony.
