enough with the earth saving

Unfortunately, it is not only you but perhaps billions of other primitive, misguided creatures who "think" they are humans

At least, you can try to think twice and realise that The Earth is your real Mother and you should show at least respect :devilish:

You completely missed my point. Try re-reading the part of my post you did not quote, preferrably on your most resource spending lcd monitor.

Listen to the dulcet tones of a Canadian Astronaut performing Bowie's "Space Oddity"...in space.

Holy crab, this guy shouldn't have become an astronaut, he should have been a pop star or something. ...Except if he had, we wouldn't have been able to listen to Space Oddity...in space!

On the subject of anthems

KAZAKHSTAN has demanded an apology from Kuwait after a spoof Kazahstan national anthem from Borat was played at a medal ceremony for its national shooting team.
The blunder took place as Maria Dmitrienko stood on top of the podium to celebrate her gold medal performance at the 10th Arab Shooting Championship in Kuwait.
But instead of the Kazakh national anthem, Dmitrienko had to listen to the song used in Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

It includes the lines:
"Kazakhstan's prostitutes cleanest in the region/Except of course Turkmenistan's."
"Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan, you very nice place ... come grasp the mighty penis of our leader, from junction with testes to tip of its face."

Looks like lightning strikes twice
"Earlier this month, stunned officials opening a ski event in northern Kazakhstan were blasted with a few bars of Ricky Martin's Livin' la Vida Loca instead of the national tune."
Thats even more of an insult :D

Didn't the German team in some recent(ish) olympics get to hear the nazi version of their country's anthem as well some years back...? Nationalism... So difficult to keep track of all these silly pompous pieces of "music"! Who needs it all, really?

It's not actually a nazi anthem. It dates from before the nazis were born, was used during nazi rule and still is Germany's anthem.
The slight problem is most of it is deprecated and not sung anymore, after the national-socialists pushed a supremacist interpretation of the lyrics. It's considered offensive if you begin with the part that says "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, Über alles in der Welt"

(the lyrics originally didn't mean "Deutschland is made of übermenschen who will take over the world", but "Deustchland above everything", i.e. Deutschland above our own petty concerns, a song about uniting the country which was not yet done at time of writing).
