Honestly, I do not understand what is so special about this song. The first time I read (see- read, not heard ) about this song was in one news site article about how many millions views it had.

And I don't like it, it is suppoesed to be music not some funny (or not so much) theater. People wonder what exactly to find so it impresses them... and boom... this shit happens and they gooo wow.

I watched this the other day. It's pretty frightening. I read a bullet hit his M203, which is why his rifle flies out of his hand at the 2 minute mark. The entire time I was watching this I was asking myself "where the fuck is everyone else?" He's literally calling for help for almost 2 minutes, before his camera winds up getting shot, too.

You're not being a jerk. I think it's a knee-jerk reaction when you're pinned down like that to call for assistance. I still wonder where his buddies were. That amount of time seems pretty crucial when you're in the line of fire like that. Every war movie I ever watched taught me about laying down suppressive fire.

I dunno. Maybe that's just my non-military background and Hollywood diluting reality.

I didn't bother watching that whole video because frankly that guy seemed to have a deathwish or something to me, walking - not very quickly either - downhill, alone towards the enemy, upright... None of those things a very smart thing to do if you want to stay alive. Ok, so hitting someone - especially at range - is a lot harder in real life than in a computer game where you often have perfect aim, but shit, no respawn or extra lives really makes it a terrible gamble hoping everybody else will miss you...
