facebook is apparently adding jabber support for their chat.
There is already a client, Digsby (http://blog.digsby.com/) that supports facebook chat. I'm not sure how, but it does. Nice little client. It supports all the popular IM services and has mail integration for hotmail, yahoo, gmail etc, so I can have all my IM and email notifiers in one place. It also has some social network integration, right now limited to Twitter, facebook and myspace, I think. They will be adding others. Anyways, if you like to have all that stuff handy in one location, take a look at Digsby. I've been using it a couple days, and I think it's fairly nice.
