For the PC and PS3 only. Yep. No Xbox 360. What's so funny is that the teamxbox administrator Cesar said he hoped it would come to Xbox 360 (He said this in the General Xbox Discussion forum). What was he reading? Honestly, I'd much rather have Endless Saga instead of Huxley (same developer). The website is at www.endlesssaga.com .

This is one more reason to get Playstation 3. Boy is Microsoft really screwing up.

What does TeamXbox have to do with this forum? I pray from absolutely nothing, since the place has serious issues. Anyway, anyway... endless saga does look nice...

Any info on how the game is going to play out? More or less like past webzen MMOs??

P.S.

This is one more reason to get Playstation 3. Boy is Microsoft really screwing up.

Comments like this are very dangerous, be careful when you make them.

To tell you the truth I really don't see MMOs taking of on any console. I think that MS are stressing a bit to much to get MMOs for the xbox, there are several comming, they really don't need another one. It will be intresting to see how well MMOs do in general on next gen consoles but especially on PS3, as I guess many will have to buy a HDD add on to play those games...

I'm with you... MS is trying to change that, but I just can't see it happening.

Online (not even just MMO) gamers, roughly calculating, were somewhere in the range of 1-3% of the console gaming population. TO make MMOs viable on a console you need a strong base that goes online... probably around 30%?? I dunno... it just doesn't seem viable.

Yeah, somehow I agree. online RPGs are a PC genre. You need your keyboard, you need your private (voice)chats/messageboards/websites, you may want to run your RPG in the background and and and...

Online RPGs are mainly for power gamers and those will prefer the PC.

As for myself I consider such games a huge waste of time nad I will never ever touch one unless they completly remove the senseless level/money grind, base the game on actual skill and really add some serious role playing elements to the game itself.

I avoid them for much the same reasons... a while back mt friends were fully addicted to ragnarok... disappointing.

Play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - server's down - EEEEEAAAATTTT - server's up - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play - play

That was pretty much all they did...

I'm of the same opinion. The online RPG's aren't that much of a RPG imo. At least not most of them anyway. It's just a eternal kill monsters to increase my stats thing. Boring.. But each to his own as usual.

Agreed, alhtough maybe next gen the online community might grow, I really don't see online RPGs becomming anything really big and especially system sellers, unless they would have some extensive single player part which could give them high sales and might push some people to play on the net as well...

What does TeamXbox have to do with here? And why did you make that last statement?

Someone lock this obvious flamebait please.

"ragnarok"

I know that game... Despite the heavy usage of bots (yeah I am guilty) it took way to much time from my RL and I was wasting way to much with that game.

One day I envied (for 20 seconds) some obviosly unemployed guys for having the time to play all day. 10 seconds later I realized, that I should stop playing NOW. I deleted all login data/configurations and everything. *puh*

Those games start getting addictive, when you start socialising ingame and you get the feeling to let down other players when you stop playing.

Since I was a botter I didn´t socialise until I got member of the number one guild, being extremly rich and powerfull. Until than I hadn´t spend that much time with the game. Just setting up bots, programming efficient strategies - perhaps 8 hours/week.
But then my committment to the game exploded, until I pulled the trigger.

Really scary ;)

Thread locked and pruned.

Reminder: When there's a flamebait, try to just ignore it.
If nobody take the bait, the discussion can occur.
Just PM a mod, and ask if the post can be edited/deleted.
Also, no need to call people names (fan-boy, etc...), since that doesn't help with the situation.

That's it.

Now, if people care about this MMORPG and want to discuss about it, just start a new thread. :)
