Education system should be overhauled

As an example, pretty much the plurality of French kings were aged 13+ when they came to power. Surely the act of running an entire country, sometimes very successfully ought to be able to convince you that indeed it can be done and done well.

Mozart, Alexander the Great, Lebesgue, Schwarschild.. The list goes on and on of great men whos contributions came largely when they were teenagers.

Philosophy bothers me, and many scientists, as it makes us uneasy. There is nothing concrete that can seperate a bullshit argument from a truthful one. Many times a theory in science that isn't falsifiable (eg string theory) at this stage is viewed with derision by scientists.. Even if its a very good plausible theory.

Take for instance the notion of 'beauty'. Burke wrote a treatise on the sublime and defined it. Voltair, Socrates, and many modern philosophers have completely different nearly mutually contradictory thoughts. Each seems valid, but the entaglement is never resolvable. Socrates thousands of years ago is just as plausible as modern though.

Im not going to search for the info. But behind every 13 year old king was a councilor that ran the country. Most of these 13 year olds were probably fed lies that they were gods descendants and shouldnt worry about the running of their countries.

Heh, yeah any thirteen year old with a wide variety of adult advisors telling him what to do.

Yeah I got a 11 year old girl here at home, the last thing that I would wish on the world is to have her run the show. ;)

Truth separates a good arguement from bullshit.

Hey I can find a picture of a woman and I think that there would be few here who would deny her beauty.
