dvd burning issues

I cap HD movies and seeing the files sizes are quite large(12gb+ per movie) I split them up and put them on dvd. Well for the past month or so all my dvds were all burned in a different file format somehow. The files now only show to be 300-400meg in size and are only 1-2min long, but the disk itself still shows to have 4.x gig on it and if I image the disk using alcohol the image is the correct size. Anyone know of a way to salvage all my data?

Try pulling it off with Isobuster and reburning it.

I can pull the image off but the file structure is still iso9660 and will only show me the first 300meg of the file. I know the data is still there because the image is 4.3gig it is just a matter of getting to it. This is very frustrating.
