Dishonoured First gameplay demo !

Agreed, and I reckon quite a few people may have missed out on this little gem the first time around.
I only recently picked this up myself when looking for Steam Big Screen games with full controller support and I'm not very far yet. But really digging the art style as well.

It's in my top ten for the last gen. I just played through again a month or two ago. I really hope they do a new version for this gen, but keep the art direction and story basics. The atmosphere is second to none!

Yes, it feels like the best atmosphere ever, best art direction ever. I just got the blink ability. Respect to the devs here, this could replace all my favourites if it goes on like this. The game is beautiful !!!

I loved this game, finished it quite a long time ago though so my memory is hazy on it. But I remember the most valuable power up being the ability to assassinate and have no body left behind. Once I got that ability I went on many an undetectable murderous rampage.

I just used the devouring swarm. Nothing like death by plague rats to brighten your day.

Well I am trying not to kill ppl here and u guys give me advice on best ways of killing !


Btw, guys is there no way to get that Rat Viscera from dr Galvani's lab without using possession? I did not buy possession and instead bouht Bend Time and now i am in the lab but the only way to get to the rat viscera seems to be through a small vent which only a rat can go thru ! I am sure the game offers another way to get it, doesn't it? They can't make sure everyone has possession at this time!
Edit: just wanted to add that if there is another way, don't tell me. Just say that there is ! The game feels fantastic and I would like to find out the way myself.

yeah found it ! Getting the hang of stealth now. BTW< playing this can'
t help feeling the new Thief is a complete DIshonored rip-off in movement mechanics.

Just pre-ordered the Definitive Edition for PS4 and it was only £14.99 thanks to the PS3 version being a PS+ giveaway and added to my game library. Of course I could just play the PS3 version but that would be crazy! Roll on 28th August!

Given the price tag I am getting tempted to buy it as I never really finished it on the ps3, thanx to moving on the ps4. Also, everytime I played it I always imaginied that the environments would look so much better with higher res textures and IQ.
But I am really torn for time right now. MGS arrives soon and that will kill everything for me ad this will just lie there unused.

ALso, theres that ps+sub which is about to end next month and needs moneys ! Man it was good to have MP not blocked behind a paywall on the ps3, paying to play Mp of an already purchased game still and will always feel wrong ! It feels like a waste of money which could go into buying another game !

I didn't realise how close MGS V is! Dishonoured DE is out on the Friday, 28th August and MGS is out Tuesday, 1st September. I may be tempted by Until Dawn as well (also out on the 28th August) but in terms of vibe it's been all over the place so I'll be watching reviews carefully.

Really I'm just killing gaming time until Fallout 4 is out. The Witcher 3 consumed two solid months of gameplay for me but I know Fallout will eat six months easily with replays for different builds and choices. Goddam three months away!

ah, I wondered why it was so cheap on the UK store - I have to say, being PS+ from day one and adding everything to my basket has really paid off!!

Same. Every month I login to PSN and add all the PS+ giveaways to my game library. I did mean to play Dishonored on PS3 but just forgot about it. The same with Metro 2033 - and I ended up buying Redux on PS4. Which reminds me I never finished Last Light - I got to the annoying fight where you fight the mutant bear outside.

Hopefully there are no mutant bears in Dishonored.

Has anyone played it yet.some early players are saying ffx are bad, like the lowest settings on PC, which is surprising... I personally could clearly see aliasing even in YouTube videos.
I am yet to put in my money on either this or UC collection. Would love to hear B3d reactions first.

I'm going to wait for a proper review before deciding - ideally DF will do something quickly. From the reports on GAF the "definitive edition" on PS4/Xbox One does seem a bare bones effort in terms of a graphics engine overhaul which is a little disappointing - but it is a budget price.

I've pre-ordered Dishonoured on PS4 but can cancel this any time before Friday. Right now I'm tempted to bump Dishonoured for Until Dawn then pick up Dishonoured later on at a lower price, perhaps with a patch or two improving things. Hmmm..
