Anyways, week old news, Digital Plaground (WARNING: Link is slightly NSFW, watch your back! ) is supporting Blu-Ray for the same reasons other movie studios are supporting Blu-Ray. Mainly cause of the PS3.
Some people say it was the porn industry that propelled VHS over Betamax and introduced the internet to the mainstream faster than the other industries. Did Sony finally get their revenge? Ironic no?
The article mentions Fever Island 3 and Pirates as their first Blu-Ray titles.
