Dell OptiPlex GX620SFF - tray or slot CD drive

These small form-factor models are pictured in vertical standing position on their site, and I guess behind-the-monitor chassis stand holds them in vertical position as well. But what about CD drivers - do they allow operation when in vertical position? I.e., are they tray loaded or slot-loaded as in iMacs?

Tray loaded drives typically allow vertical operation these days by the use of small tabs on the side of the tray that holds the disc in place in vertical mode.

If Dell has a chassis that can sit in vertical mode, I would ASSUME that the optical drive it comes with allows vertical mode as well... Regardless of what Chris Tom thinks, Dell isn't a stupid company. :)

My old GX150 uses a notebook drive, so disc "clips" into the hub itself. It's similar to how a dvd/cd case holds a disc.

Looking at the pictures of the GX620, it looks that that machine uses a notebook drive as well.
