Dell 2707WFP

Dell 2707WFP or 2x2007WFP

Hi everybody, I'm looking for something to "upgrade" and I need your advice.

I currently have 2 x 21" CRT Trinitron from IBM, and a 22" CRT TV (old!) which are basically taking ALL of my desk space, which is a 200x80cm desk. So, I was thinking of buying a single display to fit both needs, computer+tv, but I don't know how good are the big LCD monitors for satellite TV viewing. I was looking at the Dell 2707WFP.

[EDIT]: I think for that price I can grab 2x 20" WS LCD + 32" LG HDTV. I've been looking at the 2007WFP as I can get the two displays for 620€+tax, which is more or less OK, and I know it's a gamble what panel you get, but how different are they really? I don't care too much about response time, my gaming has been off for a couple of years due to time issues, and I spend lot's of time on the computer programming and doing video editing and some graphic (no photo) editing, so I do care about image quality and colour reproduction but I don't think my trinitrons are too well calibrated and I've survived them so far, so I might not be that demading on color fidelity but I think I don't want TN panels.

Any advice would be great, as I'm kind of lost.

Thanks

I'd recommend checking out the BenQFP241W/WZ I recently purchased one and it's defiantly the best when it comes to inputs/versatility. the Dell monitors have issues with their component inputs whereas the BenQ does a fabulous job on all inputs which makes it well suited for use with devices other than a PC

I got mine today (early birthday present from my wife and my mother). So far so good, will have to do some extensive testing and perhaps some calibration, though.
