D3D/OGL resolution override

I've recently come across several games with fixed resolutions (640x480) and was wondering if its possible to override said resolution settings.

what games are they? some games have to be changed at the command line, in a config file, and others don't support other resolutions at all. personaly, if it's not a command line or config file i usualy just crank the FSAA and call it a day.

older games like these make me miss my Kyro a bit. many only support 16bit color, but the Kyro removes most of the banding you would expect.

If it's all 3D, it should be possible. But if they use pre-rendered backgrounds and stuff (probably), you're out of luck. They're just not bigger than that. And in that case, it's a 2D game, even when they use 3D actors and/or run on D3D/OGL.

look for a config file. usualy PS2->pc ports without options in the menu use a config file of some sort. i wish i had the title to play around with so i could be of more help, but alas...
