Ok, but I found "EB 2D 33 C9 B8 01 00 00 00 0F A2 8B C8 C1 F9 08" after I patched it. What do I replace it with? 74 or 75?
Mine changed to "75 2D 33 C9 B8 01 00 00 00 0F A2 8B C8 C1 F9 08"

I didn't find a huge difference between 74 and EB so will stick with EB for this moment.

Well I see my 1080Ti is using a lot more memory. At least 1-2GB more than usual.

Saved a restaurant from a robbery and the restaurant guy wanna treat me. But turns out, i still need to pay.


Btw seeing that these scripts and animation for proper eating/drinking are STILL IN THE GAME. Modders should be able to bring them back for many vendor/stall/restaurants, i think.
 
IMO this will all have a happy ending.

It's ridiculous that MS and Sony certified the X1 and PS4 versions, but most console gamers will likely end up playing it eventually on their new systems.

I'm going to wait and enjoy it when they work the kinks out and I'm sure the true next gen versions will look really nice.
 
It's still the top seller on Steam and has a "mostly positive" average rating which is surprising considering how popular it is to be negative about it. It's on top on GOG too where I bought it and is at a 3.8/5 there.

I saw they removed AVX usage in a patch. I guess this means there are people with AMD Phenom and Intel Nehalem era (or older) processors playing it and complaining! I wonder how that runs!

the game seems pretty tame when capped at 30 fps.

btw they only use AVX for one or two scene in the intro. really weird. Maybe they tried to use AVX and then got no time to properly apply it to all the game?

After a rocky Cyberpunk 2077 launch earlier in December, publisher CD Projekt is facing a class action lawsuit for alleged violations of federal securities laws. The lawsuit was filed Thursday in a California court by New York-based firm Rosen Law Firm.

Rosen Law Firm said it filed the suit on behalf of investors that purchased securities — like stock — between the period of Jan. 16 to Dec. 17, 2020. In the lawsuit, lawyers said CD Projekt made “false and/or misleading” statements about Cyberpunk 2077, which was released on Dec. 10 for Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Lawyers are requesting class action status for the lawsuit.

Dishonest companies should get what they deserve. Even if the PS5 version is 60fps, that does not excuse what they released for a 150 million last-generation console market.
They even tricked MS into creating a branded One X consoles for it. Imagine if it had come out when it was supposed to

Investor pressured management team. Management team asks dev team and dev teams says

Dev team: "Its gonna be hard, we could make the game playable by that date but... "

Management : nice! We'll let shareholders know

Management : we can release the game on xxxxxx

Shareholders : we would miss the holiday craze!

Management then caved in. Shareholders then pat their backs, saying something like that Karen in avenue 5 (management or dev team should pulled a Karen instead to save this game).
 
I'm 60h in and loving it! I'm maybe 30% to 50% of main quest in, having a blast reading all the messages, listening to conversations and plain simply wrecking havoc from time to time.
There are some good people in Night City ;)

BTW. I will be interested to see if with time people will realise that this game has more than 4 endings decided by one conversation, as from what I'm hearing from my brothers who finished one path already and started replying, doing some side quests you normally can skip makes a difference. Time will tell as I don't want to know anyone's ending till I get mine, then I will talk about it.
 
Btw I wonder if they should have pulled a Pokémon.

So each life path are different versions of cyberpunk, sold separately.


But instead of doing everything in house, outsource them. Or put 3 sepeparate teams for each life choice.

Cyberpunk 2077 CORPO (by team a) 60 dollars
Cyberpunk 2077 NOMAD (by team b)
Cyberpunk 2077 STREET KID (by team c)

Maximum money, less headache.

Then a year later, sell them as DLCs.

Hmm maybe they already have different teams working on each life paths but then they still doesn't get enough time, so finally they clobbered them together into one....

That building skyline makes me remember how a wasted opportunity the verticality is...

Very few campaign mission utilized it. Side missions basically become broken easy when using verticality.

The flying cars also cannot be used :(

I just glad they didn't put arbitrary invisible wall and kill zones like what bungie did in Destiny series tho. It was horrendous design decision. Heck one of the mission in forsaken basically looks like the game was teaching you to use vantage point with verticality. Buuuuut nope, invisible wall.
