Does it matter? It makes overclocking vastly quicker and easier, as you don't have to reboot before trying different settings.

I use Ntune everyday. More importantly. Nvidia monitor that comes with it. As I mentioned before Ntune software right now has the best monitoring software available for SLI/Nforce 4 systems. There are others out there I am sure. But few are as compact and carry the data for all components in the system.
 
Speedfan does that as well :)
it can o/c my old K7S5A from windows, giving access to every possible FSB/mem clock combination, even without the hacked BIOS I'm using (set at FSB 138).
