Although it's a massive discount, 920 is still a far better deal IMO.
Well certainly the 920 is cheaper, but unlocked multipliers are an overclocker's best friend.

I agree, but you could easily clock the 920 to 965 levels and beyond. 
Certainly, but I have yet to see an o/c'd 965 sitting at less than 4GHz yet I cannot say the same for the 920.
Both great processors, just depends on how much money an individual can justify spending.

Well, checkout XS, 920 with new D0 stepping clocks up to 4-4.4GHz for 24/7.
Agreed.
XS is home to some of the best and most daring o/c'ers around. I wouldn't consider them to be a sample representative of your average o/c'er. Not a knock against XS by any means, mind you.
Given the price difference and my current income/expenditure sheet I'd still buy a 920 over a 965 but if I did have the means I would opt for the unlocked multiplier.
