Borland C++ builder 1.0 does not work in XP?

I need it for my software dev class at uni so I can do the stuff at home.
Can someone please help me. I am very desperate ATM. :?

It just boots me out to the desktop the moment I get in. I cant see any error messeges but I got a glimpse that there is a box pop up but it's far too fast for me to see it.

Don't worry, when I bought my books I got M$ Visual C++ (without needing a cd-key ) for free.
