My money is on Fallout 4 with a release date of Holidays 2015. Yes, this year!

And/or Fallout 4
Bethesda haven't had two full teams for about 10 years and there have been a few rumours about Fallout 4, including it's Boston setting, and zip about Elder Scrolls. This is why I believe this will be a Fallout 4 announcement, rather than Elder Scrolls VI - although a port of Skyrim on nextgen (handled by another steam) is definitely possible.

Having never really been into RPGs on any level I became quite a Fallout/Elder Scrolls fan last gen so either would be good in my book

Probably a slew of titles. Why spend that much money to set up a showcase for just one or two titles?

Who doesn't want to see the next Elder Scrolls, FO4, Doom, Dishonored and/or Rage?

I am assuming this is from Bethesda Software Works not Bethesda Game Studio, so I might be wrong.

Nice, I just wish for another The Elder Scrolls game. I thought Bethesda had gone to the E3 in previous years, I find the title in your thread to be quite surprising. As a general rule they never bothered to confirm nor deny rumours.

There have been plenty of rumors flying around over the a new Fallout game over the last few months, including its name, plot, setting, and more and more. I guess that there is a new Fallout in development.

A slew of titles from one team? This is a Bethesda show event, not a Zenimax event.

They say it's their first event right in the first sentence of the announcement. Which you quoted! But clearly didn't read!!! :runaway:

Is this from Software Works or Game Studio? I can't read the link

Good point. The announcement doesn't clarify but the logo is that of Bethesda Softworks rather than Bethesda Game Studio. Bethesda Softworks' franchises include Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Doom, RAGE, Dishonoured, Wolfenstein and The Evil Within.

Agreed, I am expecting multiple games to be shown/announced. Curious as to what Zeni is up to, I would think it is too early for ES6, and Fallout 4 seems to be what the public is calling for. They could surprise us with a new IP (doubt it)? ESO will surely get some play as it moves to consoles, and the new F2P model (which I hate, but probably needed to survive on consoles). I actually enjoy the game, but oddly hated it in beta.

They will most likely jump on the bandwagon of creating nextgen ports. Skyrim is the biggest candidate for that. Small team can port PC version, smack few visual mods on it, and that release will print money for a decade.

DOOM. Ever since the behind the scenes showing at Quakecon I have been fiending to see Doom in action.
hmmmm. I hadn't actually thought about that, because Fallout seemed the most likely candidate, but Doom.... just imagine.. That's a nice point you brought up in your post. Hype!

I still feel taken by surprise though, because I'd swear I've seen Bethesda at E3 several times --I've never been physically there anyways..

^ There yes, but this is beyond lurking in the shadows and getting their photos taken with other devs in hallways.

Bethesda doesn't usually announce titles at e3 and thats probably whats being referenced. Oblivion was shown for the first time at e3 in 2005 but it was announced late the prior year.

My guess is either Doom or Fallout since Doom's tied into Wolfenstein (early access?) a year ago and the quakecon video last year, or Fallout since its last instalment was before TES'. id tech 6?
