What DICE learned from the beta
Best news from there for me is that we're getting a full overview map when pressing M, and one of them seem to heavily indicate that commo rose is in at launch.
Any word on the drive able Camaros?

Haha. One thing I'd love to see in the retail is drivable civilian vehicles. On maps like Caspian it's a bit boring having to run kilometers when all the noobmates drive solo.
I'm sure I wasn't alone in running to the big trucks and cars and being a bit dissapointed at the lack of interaction.
I spent my last couple of days on Caspian outside of vehicles.. at the start of a round, don't spawn but wait nicely until a point is captured. Spawn there and you can reach all other points by foot since they're in shooting distance.
Same, re: the SSD and load times. I'd often hear the sounds, but would be a black screen for a good 10 seconds before spawning. Usually all the vehicles had been taken by that point.
I'm pining for this damn game. All my other games just aren't satisfying that itch. Fuckety fuck. Now every time I think about the release the thought is "What if they don't deliver my game for a week?" I'm almost tempted to buy it for top dollar on Origin and cancel the pre-order that was supercheap.
BF2: Special Forces had this already. It was kind of funny to play against the Insurgents, which were basically just a rag-tag group of terrorists. Good times.Haha. The sixth GeForce LAN kicks off October 14th on the USS Hornet aircraft carrier in Alameda, California, and if forty-eight hours of non-stop PC gaming, contests, panels, tournaments, and prize giveaways weren’t enough, two special guests will now be making an appearance at the event.
The first is NVIDIA’s own CEO and President, Jen-Hsun Huang, responsible for leading the company and making strategic choices that impact the PC gaming landscape for years to come. Jen-Hsun, who will open the event at 6pm PST on the 14th, will be joined at GeForce LAN 6 by Johan Andersson, DICE’s Visual Architect, who will be giving a special presentation about the making of Battlefield 3. Including brand new, exclusive info, you don’t want to miss Andersson’s presentation if you’re a fan of the first-person shooter.
In addition, there’ll be a 64-player Battlefield 3 multiplayer setup, featuring three brand new maps
Q. still really sorry to bother you, but i'm liking the bullet damage in beta it's not been changed apart from the 1hit kill bug yes?
A. Correct, a bug has been fixed and some weapons have been balanced, but the core is intact.
The XM8 with Magnum is the basis for damage in BF3, then tweaked to fit the larger maps and more open spaces of BF3.
