well had a wonderful (and very short) trip back from South Africa. Wife is doing well and so is the rest of the her/my family.

the country however seems to be in a bad state of affairs. Lots of armed robberies. Crime is way up.

A guy at work just left for SA (duing the Africa trip) where he is meeting up with his brother, who coincidentally just saw (from not more than 20ft) a valet shoot a car owner in the face.

Note that the meaning of valet in SA is quite different from the meaning over in SA.
