If GF4 does not exhibit this behaviour of producing artifacts, one can assume, that
a) it is not related to the game itself
b) reasons have to be looked for either in the rendering path the game uses or in the texture filters applied.
so if the 6800 has this even under full trilinear it has to be a problem with the game correct ?
