ASP.NET login controls help

I am making my web system and I need to know how to make a login thing like Beyond3D. However once I'm logged in the variables (UserID, isLoggedIn, etc..) will be permamently stored.

Viewstates do not help this. I tried.

Any ideas?

Store them in session variables. Alternatively store the user id in a cookie (or session) and then query a database with the user id to get the data.
