I believe sony allways has a console plan going on. They were most likely targeting a 2007 launch imo . however they had a blan for 2005,2006 , 2007 , 2008 . Just like now i'm sure they are hopping for a 2012 launch , but you can be sure that if ms was to release in 2010 or 2011 sony will be ready with a counter .
