The image quality on those above Oblivion shots is horrific!

you watched the VIDEO right? its nighttime and raining, i took 3 seconds taking those screenshots just to given an idea before downloading a video but as i said the effects took heaps better in motion.

if you did watch them , well i guess im just much eaiser to please.....lol

would people prefer if i uploaded to youtube HD?

edit: actually the IQ hit is horrific,

also i dont have the "best" versions of the shaders enabled for SSAO or DOF because they crash my frame rate. my 4850 it showing its old age, one mod i want to put on increases frame buffer usage but 800meg by itself.........

Just upgraded from RADEON 4870x2 to NVIDIA GTX570 SLI. Obviously performance difference is monumental (should be for £582 spend!), but IQ is on a different planet entirely. I am going to spend the next few weeks testing my entire back catalog(ue?) of games at maximum IQ, any suggestions?

Following shots taken from NVIDIA Medusa Tech Demo @ 1920x1200, SLI 64x AA and SLI 16a supersample with 16xAF. FPS sits between 45-60fps at these settings.

If you can use SSAA in Crysis then that should be your first stop. It is still the best looking game ever made. Oh yeah there is a mod which allow AF to work with POM. I will try to find the link; [strike]I think Almighty knows it[/strike]. Actually it was L. Scofield.

Some of those UE3 games look alright with good AA as well. The Mass Effects, Dead Space (from what I've read here), and Bioshock come to mind. In Bioshock you can even use NVIDIA SSAO which enhances the look a lot.

Nebby I've searched high and low for your TOD's but can find them any were, By the looks of it you've updated them?

Yeah I dont know if it was some database problems at Crymod site or Crytek that ate em but thread is gone. I think v4 was the latest in 3 variants (DOF strength). I'll checkfor the package and give you the link once I find it. I also slightly updated HDR/bloom strengths. I'll give it all once I find the done package.

Some more AF+POM pics. Dont know why the last pic looks like sky is burning and contrast messed up.. think editor bugged out or something (was last pic to take). native res ingame. :)

Heres some stats and dusk to day. AF+POM does zap more perfomance but cant hate as I got a 4890 and the res is like the shots.

Is there a n00b guide to crysis mods? Hell, I don't even know what POM is - I just know I want Crysis to look like the shots in this thread :)

NVM re: POM (parallax occlusion mapping), but I still want that n00b guide.

Beautiful shots Nebula, quite easily the best I have seen. Unfortunately I no longer have Crysis otherwise I would have liked your TOD and AF mod to play with on my new setup.

Gonna jump into Two Worlds DX10 and see what I can get out of it.

Two Worlds II is a great looking game
you must force AF in the driver control panel in DX10 mode
, but it does not take the crown from Crysis. I'm fairly convinced at this point that Crysis will hold the graphics crown for at least another couple of years.

God damn you all. I have tried to resist, but thanks to you three all I have just placed my order for Crysis Maximum Edition...
