    MW2 on PC. 1680x1050, 8xMSAA, 16xAF, max settings. Got to say it looks damn impressive in several scenes. Not just artwork and design but also quite respectable tech use (atleast in PC version). Sparks and glass debris with physics, massive particle amounts in larger fires (see images), lightsources casting shadows, nice specular, decent amount of destructable things etc. Probably some PC specific extra detail and of course games visuals aint lost due to sub-HD and lack of AF and low AA.

    Fallout New Vegas. Not max settings because there are some performance issues at the moment.

    Look closely...these guys destroyed me as I wandered into this area only at level 3! They're all giants.

    Fallout: New Vegas, 4xAA/16xAF, Max settings with natural lighting mod.
    Game needs shadows....even baked ones would be enough :|

    I only like to travel mid day when the sun shines high :p hence all the shots are considerable bright.

    The problem is game lacks 'baked AO' which Fallout 3 had. F3 used a layer/decal placed underneath object to give impression of AO and at the same time allow objects to be removed by LOD system without terrain looking strange.

    From what I understand the engine is definitely capable of producing real time shadows, they had it in Oblivion but later removed it cause it was too demanding back then...modders however found a way through: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eKzwKFlz8Y

    This makes me wonder why isn't there such a thing for Fallout 3/New Vegas ?

    Yeah but probably lowest common denominator related and also memory related. Though they could have added SSAO for PC atleast. Sure there are some free SSAO code available for devs to use. Anyone with Nvidia card able to force SSAO by NV CP profile for Vegas?

    I've spent more time with this (which i've had for a while with no joystick), even after I got Wings of Prey which is fun too. I almost threw my mug through the screen attempting to circle in a thermal till I realized that the default fov is set to the default brain damaged computer game programmer's opinion of FOV - tho i wonder if it defaults zoomed due to fsx's fps issues.

    there's Bill soaring over tahoe. but when the instructor mentions the ski slope, i don't see Alpine, Heavanly, or any of the others so I don't know what the instructor was talking about. :D

    Black Ops, the game has a raw look & I think its the best looking COD game till date...the levels are HUGE for a COD game.
    Max settings/16xAF/4xAA (some are 8x)...TSAA doesn't work with this game & produces artifacts for me.

    @Nightshade

    Looks OK but cant say it is satisfying. Looks to much like games from 2005 on PC.

    @Dennis4k

    Damn that is good and I see POM is disabled in prefernece of AF? Good balance and can you tell me if the game is moddable/tweakable? :)

    The devs have said that mod tools will come out.

    As for tweaks, I have only seen a few, like increasing grass fade distance removing motion blur and changing draw distance.

    So the game is like Crysis, in that it supports POM but that excludes AF? I saw this shot by Dennis and though the rocks/pebbles in the creek bed looked really weird and mildly hilarious.

    I think your memory is playing with you :p, COD2,SWAT 4, FEAR, Battlefield 2 definitely look primitive compared to Black Ops.

    Anyways more Black Ops:
