Edit: Ok, that was a "Work In Progress" screen, and obviously much earlier than the later pics.
Still, the later pics mostly have just crisper textures and better shadowing.
Boooooring.

Remember folks, new generation of consoles/CG equals to a lot of early anouncements from independent studios trying to find a publisher for their, most of the time first, game.

Some of thoses independent studios are composed of professionals, trying to create their own dev-house, and some of thoses are fresh out of school guys trying to create their own devs house.

The former know what they're doing, and for the latter well...

By the way, this "new" generation we're living is, arguably, the one with the most "surprising" annoucements so far. Between the games ugly as sin, and technically laughable (this the game in this thread), you have game like Retribution, the developers of the game ask people to actually work on the game (for free).
