The colony thing is a website hub for the online game that should eventually unveil some information about the next Xbox. You pick up clues on various web sites, and pile them together trying to figure out the way to the next clue.

It's just the way "Kutaragi" presented it here, makes it even more of a viral marketing than it already is.

The PS3's hardware "problem" he refers to, is obviously the next Xbox itself.

So how are people finding the pictures like that small section of the controller? Somewhere there is a full picture of the X-Box 360, you just have to figure out some clues to discover it?

Perhaps Quincy if you stayed a little closer to the fold you might be better informed.

Closer "to the fold" then being involved in the game biz? Unless a PS3 drops on my head, I can't get any closer dude. Common drop the silly statements like this and answer us clearly here... what hardware problem, this is the first i've heard of a problem.

I admit, "problem" is probably a little strong, it's only something that effects first strike devs. As for details, if you aren't in the know I guess you'll just have to make do with rumours (such as manufacturing hiccups in the bulk CMOS process, or large scale indecision over graphics configuration) and then there was the speculation on these boards that Howard Stringer had somehow suddenly decided that PS3 is too expensive and ordered the specification to be cut!

But this is nothing new, PSP turned out okay...
