Age of Wonders III

I picked this game up Saturday in an attempt to stave off the boredoms until Dragon Age and Borderlands 3. Turns out it's quite fantastic. It's like a cross between Heroes of Might and Magic and Civ, two series that I adore. Graphics are very good as well.

I'm still in the first campaign mission and taking my time to learn all the ins and outs, but so far I'm very pleased.

I have all the Age of Wonder games, and this one is not different, they are really addictive, a mix of both Heroes of Might and Magic and other games like Civ.

I remember explaining why the Age of Wonder games are so good in the Heroes of Might and Magic forums, in this thread to be precise (my nick is Sarcyan)

Both me and my brother where bitterly disappointed with it for multiplayer. Then we turned off city creation and it became x10 more fun. The DLC fixed the lack of buildings as well. Still not as good as Age of Wonders 2 as spells are weak and specializations seem to be mostly pointless and I do miss the wizard tower from Wonders 2.

I got this game ... and for reasons of my health and safety of my surroundings I have to give up playing it until they fucking move the fucking end of fucking turn button away from the fucking spell button on the fucking combat screen or fucking give it an optional confirmation dialogue like in the strategic map.

Fuck.

anyone still playing this game? I want to play games but have no time and only Heroes of Might and Magic games do that for me to quench my thirst. I am not playing this game though, but Heroes of Might & Magic 2 and 3.
