Well i say we sue Quaker Oats for marketing without an African American, Asian, or hispanic Quaker as their mascot. We should sue Columbia House Coffee for their lack of a white mascot.
We should sue Fubu and Tommy Hilfiger for marketing more to african americans then any one else.
We should sue various record companies for marketing their Rap labels as well as the finacials backers of Def Comedy Jam and BET for marketing specifically to African Americans.

Guy can't get hired in a recession and thinks it's racial discrimination?
These cases should result in ZERO money in damages and only an adjustment of company practices if the plantiff's prevail. After all, isn't the purpose to have them to hire the plantiff or people like them, and not to win millions of dollars for law firms in damages and a few hundred bucks for the class they are representing.
And why wasn't this filed through the EEOC first? I smell greedy lawyers.
The only way A&F's guilt could be proven to me is if you surveyed the racial makeup of Brand Representatives at all major competitors and show that they are outside the norm. I mean, Banana Republic and Gap in the Bay Area are pretty much China Republic if you look at the asian american girls who mostly work there, and Eddie Bauer is like Eddie African. And of course, MAC Cosmetics is like bizarro land, with people from races who don't inhabit this planet.
I believe most companies expect the following from any customer facing position: clean cut, well groomed, well mannered, gracious, fluent in english, educated, and aggressive. I don't believe you have a right to be a sales person in a position just because you worked another job in the same mall. That's irrelevant.

I thought Abercrombie and Fitch catered to gay guys? Or was it frat boys? I keep getting the two mixed up.

Bah, I don't really prescribe that action..... Really AA ought to be outright abolished at this point, it is state endorsed bigotry and your own government is the last entity that should differentiate.
