a hygroscopic question

now that i resisted my initial urge to post that in the 3d aloritghms and coding forum*, let me ask you this:

how do you keep your priceless home library collections from getting all twisted and bended with the moisture absorbed from the air in areas where humidity is extremely high (i'm asking as i recently moved to a place where the humidity is shockingly high compared to my previous habitat)

*as it's mostly graphics algorithms and math books that are of my concern

2 things that _might_ help:
-dehumidefier
-powerdered chalk (absorbs mostires, but needs to be replaced regularly)

epic

the Ultimate solution....
get ur books on pdf and begone with the need of pieces of paper or a library
:D

thanks for the advices. i might try the one with the chalk. i originally meant to keep them in sealed plastic bags but that's hardly any conveniet for daly-used books.

If they're really important, make an enclosure to store them in that you can control the humidity levels on....like a big humidor for books. ;)
