90s Arcade Racer 60fps [WU]

This game is very 90ish indeed. Talking of racing games from the 90's; the hot-air balloons remind me of my first ever PC game, the original The Need for Speed. -best NFS ever along with 3, imho-

The camera and car's perspective reminds me of a 1995 racing game called Speed Haste (whose shareware version I played back then) and also Screamer --my Pentium 100 allowed me to play the improved SVGA version over the standard definition one while playing dance music on the CD switching the original CD of the game to a standard audio CD) .

The game hasn't been confirmed for other consoles, but there will be a PC version.

I've never heard of that, but it looks quite similar --I checked on Google. I still have a feeling it takes some inspiration for the games I mentioned, but the late 90s had many good 3D racing games like that.

Hopefully it is going to come out for other systems, too. Only mobile, WiiU and PC versions confirmed for now. Maybe if it becomes an universal app...

Looks similar? The car in that screen shot and track setting seem almost identical to my memory, only it was under water tunnels not suspension bridges in general for that track, the car select also has a Daytona USA car as well as F1 similar to Virtua Racing and Daytona's Manual or automatic voice over and button style.

The scale electric track was nice, revolt or micro machines is what comes to mind.

The Game

This is an arcade racing game based on games that I loved playing in the arcades growing up.You could say it's inspired by those games, maybe a tribute to them or simply a rip off, any of these could be true!

The three that ate up most of my coins where Scud Race, Daytona USA and Indy 500
