I work for a small scientific computing company in the upper Midwest that produces a popular simulation tool used widely in heavy industry. This tool has a graphical front end (written in C++) that renders millions of shaded polygons in realtime. There is a lot of work that needs to be done on the renderer, and the needs have outgrown our development team. We are looking for someone with real hands-on experience in graphics development, which is why I am posting here.
The job will be mostly self-directed, so you will have a lot of freedom to decide what needs to be done. It is also a regular 40 hrs/week position with 5 weeks off per year.
