3D Animation college Rankings

I have recently taken seriously the possibility of starting all over and attend 3d animation courses.

I have been looking all over the internet rankings of the most recognized colleges/universities in Europe but I cant find any.

Some of you are knowledgeable on the matter since you may have graduated from such courses and I would like to hear your expert opinion and experience.

I would appreciate a lot any help

It's not exactly college but their DVD's are definitely good. Gnomon Workshop is a really good resource.

Since you're in Europe I am wondering if this link may provide helpful information for you. It's a forum of CG professionals, enthusiasts, and people who love 3D/CG.

The first link is their list of threads for schools in Europe. However it appears they are mostly in the UK. The second link is learning 3D in general and free resources.


I'm not trying to promote that forum over this, it's just that those people tend to be the actual artists working on CG/3D and not necessarily the technical aspect of the hardware. There's plenty of posters here that are knowledgeable on 3D animation such as Laa-Yosh. I just want to make sure you go to as many resources as ya can and get the lowdown on people who've been through the programs, colleges, or whichever aspect you're looking into.
