360 DVI problem

hm... so you have problems displaying the HDMI connection or setting the TV to HDMI ? Have you tried setting the console to 720p or 1080i prior to hooking up the HDMI? Maybe try turning the console on with the HDMI cable plugged in, and then unplug the HDMI cable from the TV and put it back in.

I fixed this problem in a very unusual way.

The television has a 'service menu' that is like additional settings for the TV. When I went there, I was able to disable HDMI signals, but to allow DVI sources only, and somehow that fixed the problem.
