3080 actual gaming performance

Hi,
I remember watching the Nvidia kitchen-keynote and I was very impressed with the 3080 performing up to twice as fast as the 2080 (non ti).

However, yesterday or the day before I saw some benchmarks and it was around 30%, whereas twice as fast usually means 100% faster.
Is there an actual game where the 3080 performance is 100% faster?

Thanks, Quake 2 etx does appear to have double the frame rates

However, they seem like edge cases. Up to could mean 100 games 10% and 1 game 100% and it would still be true, but it seems like a misunderstanding on my part, and not necessary Nvidia overhyping anything

If fully utilised I'm sure double is quite reasonable. It seems the heavier the graphics load, the bigger the performance gap. CB2077 is quite close to 2x at 4k ultra with DLSS performance:

The keynote/official data is an average performance gain over the RTX 2080 of roughly in the 70% range at 4k which tracks with aggregate review data - https://www.3dcenter.org/artikel/la...aunch-analyse-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-seite-2

Typical 30% performance gain is over RTX 2080ti, maybe that's what you're looking at?
