I have been looking into 24" LCD monitors recently e.g. Samsung SyncMaster 244T, and it seems that they may provide me with exactly what I would be looking for as a combined PC/TV/Gaming Monitor, given that i currently do most of my TV viewing on my PC through a DVB-T adapter.
Anyway, specs are:-
1920 x 1200 resolution = pretty much 1080p (I could cope with a 60 line black bars when viewing)
DVI connection but supposedly has HDCP

Thoughts anyone? would it likely display 720p & 1080p from a PS3 and be a decent PC Monitor for general use and gaming?
edit: And can anyone advise why so few of these types of panels have HDCP support, manufacturers trying to keep the TV/Monitor markets separate?
