Best card under 200 dollars US?

My local Best Buy has a sale on X1600 Pro for 179US. But I searched for it here and found that some people asked about it before and got directed toward a couple 800 series cards. Are those really better? Ati.com doesn't sell them or even have much info on them anymore. Aren't they quite a bit older? I'm confused now as to what is my best option.

Your best option might be to wait just a little bit longer if you can, since new parts at that price point are coming "Real Soon Now" (7900GS, X1650XT and X1950 Pro). Either that or the X800s if you can get them at a good price, but yes they're a fair bit older. If you really can't wait, the Radeon X1600XT and the GeForce 7600GT are most likely the best options for you at this point in time.
