OutRun Online Arcade for PS3 and 360

Available now on euro psn, played a bit, feels like Outrun SP HD Exactly what we wanted in other words!
 
Bought it, its enjoyable, but nothing compares to the original arcade version back ohhh late 80's???

This is ofcourse much better looking and probably more of technical piece of software, but still the amount of coins the original got from me is insane :)
 
Outrun movie in the works, it seems. Not only the original, but I also loved the Xbox version, Outrun 2, which had super excellent graphics. Those are marvellous games.

I'm curious whether Ferrari would participate in the project. Also, this movie potentially pave the way for a possible Out Run 3 release on modern platforms
 
it could be nice for it to be set in the 80s, the driver with his/her Ferrari Testarrossa Pininfarina Spider and Margot Robbie or Sidney Sweeney alongside... whoever.

In Turbo Out Run it was fun because your rival had a white Porsche and if you lost the race the blonde left you and went with the guy in the Porsche. If you beat the Porsche she returned. She was walking from one car to another. They could make the movie out there, based on that, a love triangle.

This 7 seconds video shows that.


Or maybe better, having Margot Robbie and Sidney Sweeney fight for your love, so it's you going from one car to another.

Well considering we are watching the back of her head while driving, either of them would do fine...

GT though has a whole thing happening in real life with the GT Academy and professional racing career (esport and real one) from it.
That attracts some interest knowing there is a real thing going on related to real racing and eSports.
Sega has to fabricate it though. How do you get people interested in someone who loves playing an arcade racer? Food for thought
I think Out Run can attract a lot if interest in the art direction to be honest. Something along Ready Player One and Kung Fury. OutRun was so awesome because of its style and its ability to communicate a sense of exhilaration and freedom driving in a variety of atmospheres. It was both the car, speed, and the environments. But I believe also the sound.
Suzuki both captured and transcended the Ferrari experience and it made it amazing that you supposedly drove so fast that you experienced multiple settings.
It it goes the Fast and Furious route, it is going to be a bland disservice to Out Run
