I liked Scent of a Woman, Matrix I, Mortal Kombat I and some others.

its one thing i kick myself for not doing, but rating films i should of started much earlier, such a list would proove benificial for further choices

Maybe because almost noone knows about it in the first place. I really love the movie, it's not faithful to the book but still extremely well directed and played, especially for the time it was produced.

Pitch Black was fun
And recently, V for Vendetta. Very brave movie really, to make you question what a 'terrorist' is, if you didn't already. Even with it's odd pacing and random lesbians.
