XBox Live in the Next Gen

Ok, I have a question. We've seen that PDZ will support 32 online and now upto 64 with Call of Duty 2. With current gen Live games people need anywhere from 768kbps to 1mbps of upload to host a 16-24 player game. My understanding is that next gen games will work the same way so that leaves me with this question. Is the net code going to be much more efficient with 360 in order for gamers to host 32-64 players or are dedicated servers going to be provided? Dedicated servers sound expensive so I don't see that happening. Anyone have the scoop on this?

i"'m a total noob concerning xbox live, but dont MS have private servers?
isnt that actually the reason they ask you money to play on live?

just my 2 turkish lira cents

The friends lists, scoreboards, etc. are hosted by MS servers. The actual game sessions are hosted on the end user's Xbox and hosting is limited to the max. upload of your connection. A few games have dedicated servers but most will require you to host.

That's right - most of it is peer to peer (spectator mode obviously isn't). I *think* upload speed will be the bottleneck for those 64 player games...
