X360 Press conference games video

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/651/651045p1.html

'IGN has returned from Microsoft's Xbox 360 press conference, video footage in hand. In addition to close up looks at Gears of War and Ninety-Nine Nights (Ninety-Nine Nights was actually played in front of us!), Microsoft shared a montage of clips for some of the Xbox 360's hottest upcoming Japanese games -- Tokyo Xtreme Racer, Bomberman, Chrome Hounds and Enchant Arms included. We came camera in hand and were able to grab the entire montage for you.

The video includes footage of some never-before-seen games, as well as some games that were just announced yesterday.'

After muting the trailer music and replayed for a better evaluation...
Overall the tittles that most got my attention by visual quality were:

Call of Duty 2 (Activision)
Chromehounds (Sega)
Dead Rising (Capcom)
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (Ubisoft)
Kameo: Elemnts of Power (Microsoft)
Ninety Nine Nights (Microsoft)
The Outfit (THQ)
Project Gotham Racing 3 (Microsoft)
Saint's Row (THQ)
Tokyo Xtreme Racer (Genki)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega)
Test Drive Unlimited (Atari)

The tittle wich most caught me by total surprise on the wow/unexpected quality factor was the old gamming maskot: Sonic the Hedgehog.

Looked way beyond what i was expecting from sega! Really impressive

Also all the racing tittles looked very good in the graphics department!

The Outfit was CGI cutscene/intro. Ditto most of Ghost Recon (shakey camera). CoD2 and Kameo both seemed choppy, but they also both seemed to be older footage. The new media from both is VERY impressive... just wanted to note that though.

And Frame City Killers... not in your list, but worth mentioning... a picture is worth a thousand words:

The footage in the video looked ok in some ways, and very bad in others. I hope they delay this title and work on it some.

Based on that image, i wouldn't buy it.
But it has potential. As you said. They better delay its launch and improve the visuals.
The coat looks like plastic or a mix of plastic/leather

Is there a list of what's CGI and what isn't? I was looking at some of that footage and thinking 'wow, this is really good!' and other bits that were E3 trailers like COD and thinking 'nah, not so hot.' Were the good bits CGI's?

On IGN they give an overview of some of the stuff shown in realtime. They said they had 99Night footage that was realtime that basically liked exactly like the movie where all the trolls were tossed. They also had a lot to say about Blue Dragon (or whatever the title is) and how it looked the same and how the game looked really good.

Most of the footage in the montage has been released before. Maybe over the next couple days we will get more info and footage directly from devs. But with ~2 months until launch and the crunch hitting I am guessing it will be more select titles being shown.

Is " Mobile Suit Gundam (Bandai)" the same Gundam from the PS3 E3 video?
No, they are developed by different companies and both are exclusives for respective platforms.

Xbox 360 Gundam - developed by Dimps - BF1942 style MMO shooter
PS3 Gundam - developed by Beck (Bandai internal development team) - shooter?

Apparently Gundam in this Xbox 360 promo clip is prerendered.

chromehound looked cgi to me, as well as those soldier/wartype games
(cgi, cutscene or whatever, you can tell by the effects, the camera etc..)

Yep. It looks suspiciously good...

Edit - Check out the difference between the new and old shots. 'nuff said.

The other weird thing is that most new screenshots (e.g. Kameo) have visible jaggies. You'd expect that to be fixed on final hardware. Maybe they're still waiting for an update on the tools side (it could improve the Chromehounds screens too for example)...

The Chromehounds trailer looks no different than Gamespot's "Hands on" trailer.

"TOKYO--Chromehounds is the recently announced mech game from Sega and developer From Software that was first shown in Sega's next-gen theater at this year's E3, where the trailer teased players with detailed visuals, a postapocalyptic setting, and massive mech combat. Since then the game has been officially announced for Microsoft's upcoming Xbox successor and is slated for a spring 2006 release. We recently had the chance to see the game in motion, and we got to see a teaser of what to expect from its playable debut while at this year's Tokyo Game Show today. Though our hands-on time was brief, we were still impressed by where the game is currently headed."

Download the Official trailer and check out the Sniper mech. ;)
