It's clearly label Dev Kit. But why is it place vertical? For comparison?

Yea, just for comparison sake. It looks a lot like the shit Dell GX150 and 250's we are phasing out at work. For that reason alone white looks 10 times better to me.


Can't wait to faceplate my 360 though.

Comparison reasons for me and alot others that have not seen a Xbox dev kit doesn't help us.

It's like an ordinary Xbox, except roghly an inch taller when placed horizontally, or fatter if placed vertically.
The other version of the kit, the simpler test kit, is sized like an ordinary Xbox.

Tried the E3 faceplate on my beta devkit but unfortunately it wouldn't fit so I'm stuck with the dull completly black faceplate. They said later revisions will be compatible tough
