Check out the improvement on the street, good lighting can work wonders on even the crappiest of textures. The car looks amazing, I'd love to see how that soft glow animates.

I am really looking foward to seeing other E3 games using the Xenos.

:? To me it's hard, if not impossible to tell the difference as the shots are from so different angles, and the first one is from much closer up, showing much less environment.

To me, the differences in those pics are just because they are taken from different angles, different position in track, different distance...

In the 'Beta' pic, the shadow on the Bank building has a softer more natural gradient than the hard black edge being cast against the building in the background of the 'Alpha' screen.

Yes that shadow is just horrible, with everything looking that good, it really stands out, and it will even in motion. I'm sure they'll fix it before release. Hopefully.

Nice to see how fans can improve a game by the mighty power of their own will and wishfull thinking.The dev don't even have to improves things .The voodoo magics of perception does it all.

I just see a wider camera angle ,here (and the sun moved ?). I would bet both screens are from the same engine build graphicaly-wise.

Seriously how can we compare 2 DIFFERENT pictures. I can fire up a game, take a screenshot of a wall and then take another screenshot of battle against many enemies against backdrop of many buildings. Then say one comes from a higher-spec PC!?
