Im wondering what MS are likely (if at all) to reveal about Xbox2, on Jan5th2005 keynote speech. You see:
I doubt they have the final design of the console exterior finalised.... so thats out the window.
- They cant be too specific about the actual chip production yet... IE transistor count / FAB process / core speed / chip technologies. As sony and NVidia are still in a position to adjust and re-tape a version of what they are working on in accordance with whats going on.
Yet, if you give the performance of the chip (fill rate etc) you can pretty much derive the above anyhow.
I also doubt with final dev kits only going out this month that they will have any decent demos either....
So what exactly will be shown... Perhaps with how gaurded info needs to be, there wont be alot of info till GDC in march?
