Can someone explain the non-standard power connection on this board? Biostar says it's an 8-pin, but ATX compatable, not EPS12v, I can't find a contact email for them to ask, so does anyone have a clue wtf will power it? Would it work with my Antec SP2 500W?

The 8pin is replacing the 4 pin 12V plugs. The new PSU out there have the 8 pin and 4 inp plugs now.
This one has the right plugs for that mobo.

this is getting boring. and, what is it for exactly, I thought we were moving away from Prescott and pentium 8xx space heater monstrosities..
