I was wondering, because I suddenly remembered the dollar sign in (hehe!) ABC80 Basic was replaced with this thing, and I couldn't understand why! Perhaps it was some bizarre dislike for America in general and its currency in particular that prompted SI (the swedish standardization institute, for you foreign peeps) to make the change.
