What are Fast Writes?

4x is max for my mobo (A7v333) its old ..... I see where you thought I meant agp 4x was the max the card supported but I meant 4x is the max for my mobo...

Out of everything, I noticed the biggest performance increase using fast writes when doing software rendering to a video memory buffer. The speed increase was quite substantial.
